Fashion & Style: Tommy Hilfiger, the preppy all-American designer didn't disappoint with his Spring Ready to Wear 2011 collection.
Showcasing a spring collection perfect for the country club or a day on a yacht, the Spring Ready to Wear 2011 had everything from an all-American red, white and blues, mixed in with a nearly neutral pale yellow palette to fun accessories.
Although short tennis-inspired skirts and sweaters were all over the place, Hilfiger made them new by playing with proportions: shrunken sweaters and oversized blazers. Wide-cut boyfriend shorts with pockets and eyelet skirts were completely wearable and made over-the-top preppy when paired with sweaters tied around the neck.
